This is a guide on how to level your First Aid skill from 1 to 450 quickly. If you need info on any of the items or places mentioned in this guide, head over to WoWHead and search for it on the WoW database.

First Aid can be a very useful skill to have, especially whilst levelling, as it saves you buying potions or eating food to heal yourself.

Levels 1 - 150

To learn the First Aid skill, you will need to visit a First Aid trainer in one of the main cities of Azeroth and become an Apprentice. You will automatically learn the Linen Bandage recipe upon learning First Aid. You will be able to return to the trainer and become a Journeyman at 50. On your way to 150, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the First Aid Trainer:

40: Heavy Linen Bandage
80: Anti-Venom, Wool Bandage
115: Heavy Wool Bandage

Create 50 Linen Bandages (requires 50 Linen Cloth).
Create 55 Heavy Linen Bandages (requires 110 Linen Cloth).
Create 55 Wool Bandages (requires 55 Wool Cloth).
Create 50 Heavy Wool Bandages (requires 100 Wool Cloth).

Total Mats Needed: 160 Linen Cloth, 155 Wool Cloth.

Levels 150 - 225

Visit your First Aid trainer again and become an Expert. You will be able to return to the trainer and become an Artisan at 200. On your way to 225, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the First Aid Trainer:

150: Silk Bandage
180: Heavy Silk Bandage
210: Mageweave Bandage

Create 55 Silk Bandages (requires 55 Silk Cloth).
Create 50 Heavy Silk Bandages (requires 100 Silk Cloth).
Create 20 Mageweave Bandages (requires 20 Mageweave Cloth).

Total Mats Needed: 155 Silk Cloth, 20 Mageweave Cloth.

Levels 225 - 330

At 300, travel to the Hellfire Peninsula in the Outlands (or Northrend) and become a Master. On your way to 330, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the First Aid Trainer:

240: Heavy Mageweave Bandage
260: Runecloth Bandage
290: Heavy Runecloth Bandage
330: Netherweave Bandage

Create 47 Mageweave Bandages (requires 47 Mageweave Cloth).
Create 38 Heavy Mageweave Bandages (requires 76 Mageweave Cloth).
Create 49 Runecloth Bandages (requires 49 Runecloth).
Create 15 Heavy Runecloth Bandages (requires 30 Runecloth).
Create 40 Netherweave Bandages (requires 40 Netherweave).

Total Mats Needed: 123 Mageweave Cloth, 79 Runecloth, 40 Netherweave.

Levels 330 - 450

At 350, travel to Northrend and become a Grand Master. On your way to 450, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the First Aid Trainer:

350: Frostweave Bandage
360: Heavy Netherweave Bandage
400: Heavy Frostweave Bandage (NOTE: This cannot be purchased from a trainer, but is a world drop. It is quite common, especially in Zul'Drak and Draktharon Keep, but if you don't feel like searching for it you could always see if there is a copy available on your server's Auction House).

Create 30 Heavy Netherweave Bandages (requires 60 Netherweave).
Create 70 Frostweave Bandages (requires 70 Frostweave).
Create 104 Heavy Frostweave Bandages (requires 208 Frostweave).

Total Mats Needed: 60 Netherweave, 278 Frostweave.
