This is a guide on how to level your Jewelcrafting profession from 1 to 450 quickly. At each level, it outlines which items you will be able to craft, and what materials you will need. Jewelcrafting is a profession that allows you to create rings, necklaces, trinkets and the like. It also allows you to cut gems. Jewelcrafting includes a skill, known as prospect, which allows you to gain gems from ore. Because of this, this profession is best paired with Mining. As always, you can pair it with another profession, but expect the cost to rise considerably. All prices in this guide are approximate, they may differ slightly depending on where you buy recipes and your server.

Levels 1 - 75

To begin your career as a Jewelcrafter, you will need to visit a Jewelcrafting trainer in Silvermoon City or Exodar and become an Apprentice. These are the only cities in Azeroth where yo can learn the Jewelcrafting skill. This will cost 8 copper and you must be at least level 5. You will automatically learn the Rough Stone Statue, Woven Copper Ring, Braided Copper Ring and Delicate Copper Wire recipes upon becoming a Jewelcrafter. On your way to 75, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the Jewelcrafting Trainer:

5: Heavy Copper Ring, 42 copper
20: Malachite Pendant, 42 copper, Tigerseye Band, 85 copper, Prospecting, 85 copper
30: Inlaid Malachite Ring, 85 copper, Ornate Tigerseye Necklace, 85 copper

60: Simple Pearl Ring, 3 silver 40 copper
65: Bronze Band of Force, 4 silver 25 copper
70: Gloom Band, 3 silver 40 copper

Create 60 Delicate Copper Wire (requires 120 Copper Bars).
Create 20 Tigerseye Bands (requires 20 Tigerseye and 20 Delicate Copper Wire).
Create 20 Malachite Pendants (requires 20 Malachite and 20 Delicate Copper Wire).
Create 25 Bronze Settings (requires 50 Bronze Bars).

Total Minimum Cost: 25 silver 57 copper
Total Mats Needed: 120 Copper Bars, 20 Tigerseye, 40 Delicate Copper Wire, 20 Malachite, 50 Bronze Bars.

Levels 75 - 150

Visit another Jewelcrafting trainer and become a Journeyman. This will cost 4 silver and 25 copper. On your way to 150, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the Jewelcrafting Trainer:

75: Brilliant Necklace, 2 silver 55 copper
80: Bronze Torc, Ring of Silver Might,
90: Heavy Silver Ring,
100: Ring of Twilight Shadows,
105: Heavy Jade Ring,

Create 5 Bronze Settings (requires 10 Bronze Bars).
Create 20 Gloom Bands (requires 20 Bronze Settings, 40 Shadowgems and 40 Delicate Copper Wires).
Create 10 Rings of Twilight Shadows (requires 20 Shadowgems and 20 Bronze Bars).
Create 15 Heavy Stone Statues (requires 120 Heavy Stones).
Travel to Thousand Needles and purchase the Pendant of the Agate Shield recipe from Jandia.
Create 25 Pendants of the Agate Shield (requires 25 Moss Agate and 25 Bronze Settings).

Total Minimum Cost: 3 gold 68 silver 36 copper
Total Mats Needed: 30 Bronze Bars, 25 Bronze Settings, 60 Shadowgems, 40 Delicate Copper Wires, 120 Heavy Stones, 25 Moss Agate.

Levels 150 - 225

Return to your trainer and become an Expert Jewelcrafter. This will cost 42 silver 50 copper. On your way to 225, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the Jewelcrafting Trainer:

Create 70 Mithril Filigree (requires 140 Mithril Bars).
Create 25 Engraved Truesilver Rings (requires 25 Truesilver Bars and 50 Mithril Filigree).
Create 5 Citrine Rings of Rapid Healing (requires 5 Citrine, 10 Elemental Water and 10 Mithril Bars).
Create 5 Aquamarine Pendants of the Warrior (requires 5 Aquamarine and 15 Mithril Filigree).

Total Minimum Cost: 3 gold 60 silver 52 copper

Levels 225 - 300

Return to your trainer and become an Artisan Jewelcrafter. This will cost 4 gold and 25 silver. On your way to 300, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the Jewelcrafting Trainer:

Travel to the Outlands and find the Jewelcrafting trainer in Thrallmar or Honor Hold and become a Master Jewelcrafter. This will cost 8 gold and you must be at least level 50. On your way to 350, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the Jewelcrafting Trainer:

Travel to Northrend and learn the Jewelcrafting Grand Master rank from Warsong Hold, Valgarde, Valiance Keep, Vengeance Landing or Dalaran. This will cost 28 gold and you must be at least level 65. On your way to 450, you will be able to purchase several recipes from the Jewelcrafting Trainer:

Continue to make Northrend meta gems learned at 420 until you have levelled up your Jewelcrafting.

Worst Gold Guide: 20k Leveling Guide

The main focus of the 20k Leveling Guide is to make gold while leveling rapidly, but the information is very basic. It claims to be able to make you 70,000 gold while leveling, but when I read through it, the techniques were nothing special and definitely would not make to you much gold.
